​The First Burn: Setting the Wax Memory

​To get the most out of your SB HOUSE candle, the first burn is essential. Wax has a 'memory,' meaning it will only melt as far as it did during the first lighting.

​Burn your candle until the entire surface of the wax melts evenly to the edge of the vessel.

​Do not extinguish the flame until a full melt pool has been achieved.

​The Ritual: Maintaining a Perfect Burn

​Wick Trimming: To ensure an even, clean, and smoke-free burn, the wick should be meticulously trimmed to a length of 3–5mm each time before lighting.

​Burn Time: To preserve the integrity and richness of the fragrance, do not burn your candle for more than four hours at a time.

​Re-lighting: If you leave your candle burning longer than four hours, extinguish the flame, trim the wick to 3–5mm, and then re-light it.

​Safety & Preservation

​Discontinuation: Discontinue use when approximately 10mm (1cm) of wax remains. This prevents the glass vessel from overheating and cracking.

​Surface Protection: Always protect the table or surface on which the candle rests.

​Never Leave Unattended: Candles should never be left burning unattended. Keep away from children, curtains, and pets.
